So I saved this very special dress for the last day of Philippine Fashion Week.

A printed dress with leather cutout details by one of my favorite designers, who also happens to be an awesome friend, Dan Concepcion.

Ill keep this short and sweet.

Dan Concepcion is a UP BS Psych graduate (oh, and that’s with honors. 😉 ) .

Smart? Check.

Despite his hectic full-time schedule at the School of Fashion and the Arts as a Fashion Design and Marketing major, he still finds time to intern for designer Gian Romano. Booking clients while still in school is but one of the many things that keep Dan busy. Well, that’s also because aside from designing for  his clients, he buys his fabrics, cuts them, makes his own patterns, and sews his own pieces – a feat very few designers can boast of.

Talented? Check. 

Oh, and he’s also as gorgeous as his chosen models & muses – maybe even more.

Gwapo? Triple check.

I know that a single picture doesn’t really do the dress justice because the cut-out details aren’t really seen. BUT. Don’t fret. I’m definitely wearing this dress again soon. So you’ll get your chance. 🙂

You’ll be seeing A LOT more of Dan and his designs in this blog. Why? Because he is the Kermit to my Divine. haha! for real though. I think this guy is amazing ; I know he’ll go places and I can’t wait for him to get featured and acknowledged for his work. He inspires me and he can definitely inspire you too.

plus, I already booked him to make me outfits. 🙂
