Before I talk about the event, let me show you some pics. π
Here’s Parfois’ Market Manager, Rogerio Alvez, throwing candies after the blessing for luck π
And here are some of the adoooooorable stuff that caught my eye. πΒ
It’s so hard to keep myself from spending when I see shoes like these.Β
I want this bag!!! If I go to Bora this May, I have to get this bag. hahaΒ
And remember that I was the stylist for the day (as seen in this post)? Well, here’s a picture of me in action!
Wanna see who availed of my styling services? haha here you go. Meet Ana. π Β She’s wearing Parfois necklaces, bracelets, belts, rings and flats! Talk about excessorizing! π
Meet Maxine. She’s wearing Parfois necklaces, bracelets and bag. π
Now meet Ms. Kim, the brand manager. π She’s wearing a Parfois necklace and belt. You have to be as stylish to be the brand manager!
Got my picture taken with Market Manager, Rogerio and Kim. π
More gorgeous girls from Parfois! Here are Sam and Krista. We posed in Parfois scarves and hats. We were in theme for the Royal Wedding! btw, I liked the hat so much I ended up getting it. haha
Okay, so I was absolutely ecstatic when Joanna Estrada called me about the opening of a branch of theirs. She told me about them wanting to have a stylist-for-a-day activity and I immediately said yes. haha
Good thing I did (and that I didn’t have school or work.) We got there a little past 3 and waited for the blessing and the ribbon cutting. After that, we celebrated with pizza being passed around the store. π Just imagine how happy I was eating pizza while surrounded by accessories. haha
If you’re wondering about the styling, I only got to style 2 girls. It was fun though, they chose some pieces that they really wanted and we just tried to add other complementing pieces. Thanks to Maxine and Anna for being so game! π Although I do wish we had other girls who wanted to try out the hats and the scarves, especially since I always get so giddy with scarves. haha Oh well, maybe next time. π
Despite me only styling 2 people, the event was extremely fun! We did nothing but try on stuff and make each other try on stuff. HAHA I felt like we were shopping the whole time. It was also really nice getting to meet the people behind the brand. They had so much energy, I can only imagine how fun it must be in the office! And I learned so many things. Using the terms slips and corsetry, for instance. π
I also learned a lot from Rogerio especially about the brand’s aggressive expansion. The Portuguese brandΒ came to the Philippines just last December and now they already have 3 branches here and 2 more opening in May, both in Davao. This is a dream for a lot of companies and I applaud Parfois for doing this real well. π Imagine, they already have 230 branches worldwide! Wow. It really is no surprise though once you see their items. They have a great selection of jewelry, handbags, wallets, watches, sunglasses, belts, scarves, hats, hair accessories AND shoes. So you can buy your basics and your dresses and whatever you want to wear, and head down to their store to find the perfect accessory for you. Don’t worry, you’ll find one (and maybe even more) as they have panels and panels of to-die-for products. π
Speaking of their items, wanna see what I got? π
So I got boots, the hat, the necklace I was wearing during the event and a scarf, courtesy of Parfois. π Thank you so much! Can’t wait to wear them! π
Thank you so much to everyone! It was absolutely lovely meeting all of you – Rogerio, Kim, Sam, Krista, Che and the rest of the team. Hope to meet Joanna soon too! Thank you for having me, I had such a blast. π
For those who are interested, as I’m sure you are, their branches as of now are in 2/F SM Megamall, G/F SM Southmall and in Glorietta 4. It’s sale in their Megamall branch btw, so you guys should go before the sale ends! They’re also opening in SM Davao and Abreeza Davao in the next month, which means more branches to visit!
You can like them on Facebook here or visit their site atΒ http://www.parfois.comΒ for more info. Oh, I heard they have a Mother’s Day Freebie too. Check it out! π
