Bought this fringe kimono because it felt like it would either make me look like a long-lost Olsen twin or a contemporary fortune teller – either of which I don’t mind being mistaken as. Neither happened though. I’m not blonde enough to be an Olsen and am unfortunately not mysterious enough to pass as a psychic.
Nonetheless, I’ve been in love with this blanket-looking item (that happens to have fringe, a velvet trimming and beading) since purchase a month back and have been abusing it every chance I’d get – including a shoot I did that I can’t wait to share with you.
Meanwhile, I’ll be collecting more weird pieces that make for great conversation starters. Or at least make me feel a little closer to looking like the identical fashion moguls. Did I ever mention I was obsessed with the twins? No? Well, now you know.
