Spent Saturday last week in Katipunan watching a few friends play.

The night was spent with me complaining about the entrance fees, how late gigs start and how sleepy I was. (My new year’s resolution is to lessen my complaints, btw.) that night, well, was an exception. haha And despite me not getting the whole band scene, I had fun.

Had dinner with Paul, Len and Stephen at Banapple before heading out to Route 196 to watch Paul’s band, Pascalene, play.

Half the time I was listening. Half, analyzing the whole scene – how close-knit they are (I think that particular gig was organized by an org). I also spent the night (and the following days) coming up with schemes of reviving the band scene. People spent tons on last week’s SG Laneway. Wouldn’t it be nice if people would also spend on a Filipino Laneway of sorts? (I know this is a long shot, but I learned to dream big. Or at least try to instill these dreams on others coz they arent exactly mine to begin with.) Pardon the rambling. Here are the pics!

Paul, Stephen and Len at Banapple. See how they transform ๐Ÿ˜‰

with KB this time ๐Ÿ™‚

Ralph Mendoza (on drums) and RJ Miso (on sax. Yes, he plays the sexy saxophone ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

Their vocalist, AA Enriquezย

And Fritz Mendoza on bass. Oh and yeah, the 3 Mendozas are brothers.ย and Paul!! (on a normal guitar!!! hahahahaha)

Abbey Road, another band who played. Their lead singer is awesome.

AA and Rio ๐Ÿ™‚

I personally think they’re awesome. I would attach the songs here, but I apparently can’t. Or maybe I just can’t figure it out. boo!

Hope you could watch them on their next gig! And cross your fingers that they have another one before AA leaves for Berkeley. haha

Outfit post to follow. ๐Ÿ˜‰
