Sunny Hts.

We did a shoot a couple months ago for Sunny Hts. and I just can’t get enough of the pictures. So imma share em with you! πŸ˜€ haha Well, I mentioned Sunny Hts. before, but to refresh your memories, Sunny Hts. is an umbrella brand carrying 4 awesome brands: Heliana, a shoe line that carries super comfortable shoes; Nima, a locally made clothing line that carries clothes perfect for the fashyon women of today and Sunday’s Best Manila and La Dame, two vintage brands that carry pieces for the bohemian/ “free-spirited” individual and the trendy woman, respectively. Β Sample pieces that I’ve worn from their lines are seen hereΒ and here. πŸ™‚

Anyway, here are the pictures. πŸ˜‰

Photographed by (my favorite!) Hannah Reyes

Styled by Fatima Potch Yambao and Nico AquinoΒ (hello, pretty girls! <3)

With the special participation of designer and artist, Dan Duran

Thank you soooo much to the awesome team. I had soooo much fun laughing, dancing and eating during the shoot. <3 Til the next! πŸ™‚

Check out the four awesome brands under Sunny Heights: Heliana, Nima, Sunday’s Best and La Dame. Like them all!

p.s. the amazing set makes me want to redecorate my room! haha

My doggie’s sick :(

This isn’t a fashion-related post at all, but I just wanted to share that I’m really sad that my dog, Asher, (i posted about him here) has distemper. πŸ™ You know, that illness that makes dogs shiver, their eyes bulge, gives them fever, and makes them suffer. πŸ™ He’s been at the clinic for ten days now. My mom and I visited him again earlier and he couldn’t even get up. πŸ™

This is what he usually looks like when he’s all healthy and happy.

I reaaaaally hope he gets well SOON. πŸ™

sorry for the not-so-good-vibes post. will try to be all smiles again in the next ones.

Jack-O-Lantern

I don’t know how often this happens to you, or if it does at all, but I find myself opening my closet and staring at it blankly for minutes every.single.day. haha This happened AGAIN last Saturday when I went to my friend”s house for a birthday party. tried so many things on and I ended up with this.

Sweater and Black Knit top, Forever 21; Shorts, H&M; Bag, China; Β Bracelet, Noelle Llave; Shoes, Rome

Photographed by Paul Mendoza
a weirdly edited shot that I like.

Was really going for the casual look. But since I felt like I still had to be fashown, I wore these awesome platforms from Rome Shop. Β I’m soooo in love with them. They’re gorgeous and comfy. So lucky they had these in my size! Im a 5/6 so imagine how hard it is for me to find shoes that fit. πŸ™

Oh and I got the title from, well, the colors of my outfit. That’s what my outfit reminded me of – Halloween. hahaha Trick or treat, anyone? πŸ™‚

Denim + Leather

Denim Polo, La Dame; Leather Leggings, Forever 21; Zipper Platforms, DAS; Fringe Bag, Sunday’s Best

Photographed by the awesome Hannah Reyes (thank you! <3)

Wore this to go shopping at the Search for the Next Big Thing Bazaar in Rockwell last Friday. Was supposed to wear this out to a friend’s party but unfortunately, I missed out and wasn’t able to go. boo hoo. Well, there’s always next time. πŸ˜‰

I’ve been avoiding wearing leather leggings for so long coz I felt they were too party-ish to wear to school or the mall. Pairing em with denim totes helps. πŸ˜‰

Oh oh, and I finally got to wear my new DAS babies out. These platforms are amazing! I love how fashionable I feel in them (not to mention tall). hahaha

Anyway, back to my homework! In all fairness, this coffee I’m drinking is def doing it’s job.Β  (You didn’t fail me, Nescafe!) πŸ™‚ Wish me luck, loves! Til the next post! πŸ™‚

When Sick, Wear Pink

As promised, here’s the outfit post of what I wore to the Mango X Nivea Glam Express Event. πŸ™‚ Coz I was sick, I opted for a more comfortable outfit. Hello, huge sweater and jeans! haha Anyway, here are the pics. πŸ™‚

Sweater, Topshop; Platforms, Soule Phenomenon; Bag, China; Feather Earring, HongKong

this will probably gross you out, but to prove that I was indeed sick, here’s a pic of me blowing my nose. HAHAHA

had to miss school for a week coz of this πŸ™ am much better now although I find myself still coughing.

Since the weather’s bipolar, always bring an umbrella so you dont get wet by the rain. k?? Keep safe and healthy everybody πŸ˜‰

Mango X Nivea: Glam Express

Last week, Nivea and Mango teamed up for the Nivea Glam Express event. So even if I was all green and sickly, I still attended coz I didn’t want to miss the tie-up of two brands I absolutely adore. <3

Here’s what I wore to the event. Wasn’t feeling well so I opted for something comfy – with 6 inch heels. πŸ˜‰ Separate outfit post to follow πŸ˜‰

When I got to the Mango store in Rockwell, I was immediately greeted by an offer to join the styling competition. I went there alone but we had to be in groups of 2/3 to join the game. Luckily, I met awesome people Dyna and Stephanie who grouped with me. We were given a peg to copy and the challenge was that we had to be real quick because the group to style the fastest wins.Β The theme we had to work with was Bohemian. πŸ™‚

After minutes of rushing around the store grabbing all the boho clothes we could find, we finally came up with this look:

Oh, btw, im the one wearing the clothes because one person from the team had to be the model, and the rest stylists. They coerced me into being the model! haha kidding. You know how much I love dressing up. πŸ™‚

with new found friends and groupmates Dyna and Stephanie. πŸ™‚ I super like how they styled the outfit. It may not be as boho as it should, but I would definitely wear something like this. <3 Clothes, bag, scarf and ring from Mango. πŸ™‚

Before I announce the winners, lemme share some pics. The Glam Express event actually introducedΒ  three things: the new Nivea Express Hydration Lotion, Mango’s FW Collection and a new Facebook app called Glam Board Express. πŸ™‚

Ms. Raisa Mislang and Ida Dizon, Brand Managers of Nivea, talked about their new product the Nivea Express Hydration Lotion. They pointed out that skin is an essential fashion asset, which is, of course, true. We were able to sample it in the store and true enough, the lotion really does give your skin a nice glow aside from it making your skin soft. I probably shouldve used it before posing for the camera. 😐 I will next time though since I got some bottles. πŸ˜‰

Here’s a peek of Mango’s FW collection that Ms. Karen Chikiamco, Country Manager of Mango, talked about. Will be making a diff. post of Mango’s new clothes so wait for that. πŸ˜‰

and last but not least, Yehey! Corporation’s General Manager, Mr. Jay Arellano gave us a sneak peek of the Facebook Application that they’ll be launching tomorrow, Aug. 18, called the Glam Board Express. It’s like Polyvore and Looklet where you can create different outfits but a lot easier and accessible coz it’s on Facebook! Plus, the clothes you’ll be choosing from in creating looks are clothes from Mango so your outfits are sure to be fashionable. πŸ™‚ I personally can’t wait to try this app! πŸ™‚ OH OH OH and you know what, if you create looks you get a chance to win daily goodies from NIVEA and weekly shopping money from Mango! #whatisawesome! So, dear reader, I think you and I will be competing for these awesome prizes. haha when I do get to try it out, I’ll post some pics of the looks I created just to give you a feel of the app. πŸ™‚

I also saw some friends during the event. Say hello to fellow fashion blogger, Vern Enciso πŸ™‚

It was really nice seeing you again, Vern! and it was lovely meeting your sister, Vernice! You both looked super gorgeous that night. <3

here’s a pic of me with fellow blogger (who’s waaaay more popular) and long-time friend, Jeff Cape. πŸ™‚ It was really nice seeing you! Let’s hang again soon, k? πŸ™‚

Now, let me share who won the contest. We didn’t, just so you know. haha

the girls who won third place are the pretty Enciso sisters! I was really happy that Vern was there. <3 They were able to come up with an outfit in 10 minutes. πŸ™‚

The very post Stylebible.ph team came in second. They came up with an outfit in 9 minutes. πŸ™‚

and here are the pretty winners who were able to style in 4 minutes. 😐 They won goody bags and Mango watches. πŸ™‚ Congrats girls! πŸ™‚

Don’t be sad for me though coz I didn’t leave empty handed. Since both Mango and Nivea are super generous, we got goodie bags! πŸ™‚ Thank you so much to Mango and Nivea for these awesome items I cannot wait to use! πŸ™‚

and last but not least, thank you so much to Jeff and Joanna for the invite! πŸ™‚

How to Slap: The SLAPWATCH Way

“If it doesn’t say SLAP, it’s not a SLAPWATCH.”

Have you ever seen a watch that you literally slap onto your wrist? Well, folks, that watch is called a Slapwatch. Flexible, bendable and bright, it’s one of the cutest watches to sport around. These watches come in two sizes – the regular Slap Watch and the smaller one called a Slap Jr. (cute! haha). Despite having only two sizes, they have toooons of colors to choose from, so you’re sure to find a watch that can match any outfit with.

In all honesty, I am not a regular watch wearer as you probably have noticed.Β  I know it’s a pretty bad habit, butΒ  I am one of those who merely rely on their phones for the time. 😐 But these watches are too fun and playful that I immediately got two watches when I saw their stall! πŸ™‚ I got a violet regular Slap Watch and a pink Slap Jr. If you see the watches, they may come off as accessories for the sporty type, but they’re not. I ain’t sporty and I wear them! hahaΒ  I think they’re versatile that you can choose to wear them on their own or you can opt to layer them with other bling. See, it’s for the girly girls too! πŸ™‚

and that’s me wearing a small black Slapwatch. πŸ™‚

And you know what I love about their watches? You can switch them up!!! You can change the straps depending on your mood and your outfit. Cool, right??? I am so thinking of getting white and orange next just so I could mix the colors! πŸ˜€

Actually, if you collect all 9 colors, you have the possibility of 81 different watches! πŸ™‚ If you get 8, you have the possibility of…ummm…64 different watches? HAHAHA sorry, I just find the mix and match possibilities amazing. πŸ™‚ So if you wanna get your own Slapwatch (or watches – you do the math, though) you can visit and like the Slap Watch Facebook Page.

Happy mix and match-ing! πŸ˜€

Everyday Runway

A few weeks back, I was fortunate enough to be part of the launch of the brand Everyday Runway. It’s a new bag line by Abby Jocson (remember herΒ  other awesome bag line?) that features bags that are easy to match and more affordable than her other label. We had the shoot in High Street and I had so much fun despite the fact that it was raining. My photographer made me smile!!! hahaha

I’m babbling here. I actually wanted to introduce the brand and share that Everyday Runway is having an Introductory Sale! And get this, you can buy 2 bags for only Php999! Hurry though because a lot of pieces have already been sold!

Here are some pics from the set. πŸ™‚ There are three main designs but tons of colors. Choose your bags now. :))
